The Expo promies to bring tourism and real estate to Africa

Africa Travel & Real Estate Expo celebrates 2nd anniversary

MAIN The organisers of the prestigious African Travel & Real Estate Expo have announced the dates for this year's showcase to be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Toronto, Canada.

In a press statement to Nordic Africa News, Paige Campbell, The Expo's Head of Commincation said, "The Expo will take place from September 1st to the 3rd and will feature exhibitors promoting travel, tourism and real estate products from Africa."

The three-day expo expects over 100 exhibitors and 5,000 visitors. Exhibitors will include members from travel and tourism, real estate, government and corporate sectors.

Africa Travel & Real Estate Expo is an educational event that seeks to provide to the Canadian consumers and tourists information on travel, tourism, business, and real estate in Africa by bringing together African-based organizations, businesses and government officials with
Canadian tourists, buyers, travel & real estate industry
professionals, and the media.

The event organizer and president of African Travel and Real Estate Expo, Patience Chirisa said, “The purpose of the show is to promote tourism and real estate in Africa by bringing together African-based businesses and tourism officials with Canadian and American consumers.

"Africa, to a large extent, has bucked the global slowdown and has shown growth in travel, branding opportunities and investment”

Africa remains a continent with vast investment opportunities and Canada exhibits a steady economic growth. The African Travel Expo is bringing both worlds together.

For this year's edition, The Expo has attracted big partners which include South African Airways, Fedex, CTV and many others.

The Expo will effectively market to consumers by offering complimentary seminars on African travel and real estate products.

Campbell said, "A cocktail evening is planned for exhibitors, media and government officials on the first night of the expo to promote networking opportunities.

Admission to the expo is free and numerous prizes will be awarded including 2 round-trip tickets to South Africa."

A brainchild of a native of Zimbabwe, Patience Chirisa, Africa Travel & Real Estate Expo specializes in promoting travel and real estate opportunities in Africa to the North American market.

The founder has a background in travel, event planning and public relations. She started the expo in 2008 and plans to market it across Canada and the US.
