Nasiru Mohammed on target in Swedish Cup semi-final win

Nasiru Mohammed and teammates celebrate his goal against Djurgarden

Ghanaian striker Nasiru Mohammed scored a goal in the semi final of the Swedish Cup when his side Hacken beat Djurgarden 3-2 in extra time on Saturday.

Mohammed headed in an equalizer during a goalmouth melee after the Gothenburg-based club had fallen behind early in the first half in the match which ended 2-2 at full time.

Sierra Leonean striker Mohammed Buya Turay was one of the scorers for Djurgarden. He made it 2-1 in favor of Djurgarden in the 38th minute.

Hacken will now meet Eskilstuna, who overcome AIK 6-5 on Sunday, in the final on May 30. A win for Hacken will mean a repeat of a 2016 triumph.
