Bambwa: an African investment opportunity

Sweden-based Bambwa Group, a firm that “invests and supports Nordic and African growth companies to scale across West and East Africa”, is opening up to new investors.

According to info released on Facebook, Bambwa Group is staging presentations in Stockholm, the Swedish capital on December 13 and 17.

The one-hour event will begin at 4pm and is part of the company’s mission to “improve people’s quality of life by investing in African and Nordic companies with a clear target on high returns and growth potential.”

The company headed by Michael Mathiesen, the information notes, has “established its own office with strong local management in Ghana, Liberia, Kenya, Sweden and Denmark in the last year.

“Bambwa has so far invested in 3 Nordic / African growth companies. Now Bambwa is ready to grow and scale up the business and therefore conducts a private placement targeted at selected stakeholders. Bambwa expects break-even 2020 and plans to make an IPO within the next 1-3 years.”
