African scorers in opening round of Swedish Cup

There was a number of African goalscorers in the opening round of the Swedish Cup over the weekend.

Guinean Kerfala Cissoko scored for Dalkurd in a 3-2 loss to Djurgarden while Nigeria’s Dudu Omagbemi grabbed a 77th minute consolation for Oskarshamn in a 4-1 drubbing by Orebro.

Goals from Ghanaian Ebenezer Ofori and Eritrean Henok Goitom helped AIK to a 2-all scoreline after falling two goals behind against Jonkoping.

Another Nigerian Jordan Kadiri was on target as Ostersund walloped Eskilsminne 5-0. Ugandan Ronald Mukiibi was also on the scoresheet.

In the female division, Nigerian Anam Imo hit one for Rosengard in a 5-0 crushing of Vasteras while her compatriot Ngozi Okobi scored the only goal in Eskilstuna’s 1-0 win over Umea. South Africa’s Linda Mothala was on target twice for Djurgarden in a 4-2 victory over AIK.
