The coordinator of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Scandinavia has unequivocally condemned the spate of killings in Yobe, Adamawa and Borno states in northeast Nigeria.

Ayoola Lawal, in a release, said the “the death of any child in any culture or nation is a sad news. The attacks on the pupils and defenceless civilians is grossly an act of pure evil.”

“The recurrent attacks of Boko Haram insurgents depict that the Federal Government approaches against the insurgents are not close to working. Truth be told , urgent and timely comprehensive review of strategies is needed for the war against these insurgents,” he noted.

Lawal called on the Nigerian Federal Government to stop playing politics with the lives of innocent Nigerians and roll their sleeves to protect and promote the welfare and security of people.

He said,” we in APC Scandinavia ( Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland) hereby totally condemn the spate of killings in Yobe, Adamawa and Borno by the Boko Haram insurgents. We urge all citizens to assist the appropriate security agencies in the timely dissemination of useful information regarding the insurgents.”

APC Scandinavia, Lawal noted,  calls upon the United Nations and the Scandinavian countries to strategically assist and support the Nigerian Government in the war against the terrorist sects.
