The US-based Association of Bong Miners (ABM) will hold its annual convention in July in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The three-day affair which will be staged from July 6th to the 8th is expected to bring together scores of Liberians residing in the US and elsewhere who formerly lived in the Liberian community of Bong Mines.

According to information released by the organization, the event begins with a meet and greet night on Friday the 6th of July at Tropix Bar and Lounge.

On Saturday, there will be a whole day of activities, which will include a business meeting, sports events, tours and a banquet at the Plaza Extension to raise funds for the hospital. The festivities end on Sunday with a prayer service at the same venue as the banquet.

“Please come out and get reunited and connected with other Bong Miners. Come lets re-live that very unique community life we all once enjoyed and at the same time give back to Bong Mines,” the association notes.
