Canadian philanthropist Krish Roopnarine and his family (wife Dee Roopnarine and their two sons Dimitri and Yuri Roopnarine) has donated a bus worth $16,000 Canadian dollars to the Hagie Gai Drammeh Foundation (HGDF) dedicated to supporting the physically challenged in The Gambia..
Roopnarine, the foundation’s main supporter, is a man of integrity whose aim is to give back to the society and extend his God-given blessings to all, especially the underprivileged.
Speaking to HGD Foundation Media, Hagie Drammeh, founder of HGDF, expressed appreciation and stressed that “this is to show our gratitude over and over again to our loving and supportive family, the Roopnarines.”

“We thank and appreciate them for the donations of this bus and many others medical materials to the foundation’s mission. It will be used to ease the HGDF transportation constraint and generate funds for the foundation’s future projects. Once again, we say thank you and God Bless Krish and his family”.
The foundation is known for its passion to uplift the standard of people living with disabilities across The Gambia and especially in rural communities where its impact has been felt greatly.
