Ghanaian striker joins Swedish club BK Hacken
Ghanaian striker Kwame Kizito has signed a three-year deal with Swedish premiership side, BK Hacken.
The 22- year-old joined the Gothenburg-based club from Libyan outfit Al Ittihad.
He told Hacken’s website that he was very happy to finally be at the club. “I have watched some on Youtube, and I come to a team that plays a nice football. I have also had contact with Nasiru Mohammed, who just talked a lot about the club.”
He described himself as a goal scorer who, in addition to his speed, is good at creating spaces for his teammates.
“I have come here to strengthen the team and of course want to have as much playing time as possible, I want to help the team win many matches, to a good position in the table and win titles,” Kizito noted.
“We have been interested in Kizito for a long time and made an attempt to get him already before the 2018 season, but did not succeed then. … Of what we have seen, he is a big but agile player with power in his speed and he has a relatively good technique. In Kizito we get a powerful player, Hacken official Sonny Karlsson added.
In another development, Liberian-born Vajebah Sakor has left IFK Gothenburg for FCI Crete in Greece’s top division while teenage star Jack Lahne has joined French club Amiens SC from Brommapojkarna, who were relegated from the Swedish premiership last season. Tunisian playmaker Issam Jebali has joined Saudi club Al Wehda from Norway’s Rosenberg.
