Liberian international striker Emmanuel Ernest has officially completed a move to Malta’s Hamrun Spartans FC, marking another significant step in his growing professional football career.

The powerful centre-forward joins the Maltese champions after building a reputation through impressive performances across both African and European football.

Ernest most recently featured in Albania’s top flight, where he continued to demonstrate the qualities that have made him one of Liberia’s most promising attacking talents.

Renowned for his physical presence, tireless work ethic and ability to lead the line, Ernest is expected to provide Hamrun Spartans with additional firepower in attack.

His strengths in holding up play, aerial ability and eye for goal make him a valuable addition as the club prepares for domestic and continental competitions.

At international level, Ernest has proudly represented Liberia, gaining valuable experience with the national team and showcasing his talent on bigger stages.

His move to Malta offers another opportunity to continue his development while competing in a highly competitive European environment.

Hamrun Spartans have expressed their excitement at securing the striker’s signature, believing his experience, determination and ambition will contribute significantly to the club’s objectives in the upcoming season.

For Ernest, the transfer represents a new chapter and another chance to fly the Liberian flag abroad as he looks to make a lasting impact with one of Malta’s most successful clubs.

Supporters will be eager to see the Liberian forward in action as Hamrun Spartans aim for success on all fronts during the 2026/27 campaign.
