Modupeola: My debut album is inspired by God

Sweden-based Nigerian gospel music singer Modupeola says her upcoming album highlights songs of praises, delivery, happiness, healing and were inspired by God.

The instruction to begin the album came from God while I was in prayers, that’s why all the tracks are a whole package of praises to the Almighty, she told Nordic Africa News.

Modupeola said during the whole year that it took to work on her debut album, titled Songs of the Lord, which will be launched on December 8 in Gothenburg, Sweden, she was challenged and strengthened.

“I was pushed beyound my limit, had to change my idea and mentality, to learn to be patient and strengthen my faith, and wonderfully I began to write new songs for the next album,” she added.

The singer paid special gratitude to her husband and kids, noting that they are her first fans. “They encouraged me a lot.” Her husband is Pastor Ola Oluayo of the Family Worship Center.

She also spoke warmly of producers Robinson, Bmaster and Marcus Göransson who worked on the album, noting that they were responsible for the dual African, European flavor of the album. “They brought the best out of me.”

Modupeola also expressed her gratitude to Kingdom Radio 94.9 fm in Gothenburg for all the support they have given her.
