Nigerians living in Scandinavia will be able to have their Bank Verification Number(BVN) registration done without traveling to Nigeria and when all is perfected, the details will be communicated across  to all Nigerians residing in Scandinavia, says Ayoola Lawal, the chairman/coordinator of All Progressives Congress Scandinavian Chapter.
In a release to Nordic Africa News, Mr. Lawal said that that information was given him by the head of the Nigerian mission in Scandinavia, Minister Jane Ndem when he paid a courtesy call on her at the Embassy of Nigeria in Stockholm, Sweden.
The release added that Mrs. Ndem assured that the mission will always see to the welfare and support for all Nigerians living in Scandinavia and also encourage any project that will lead to a better Nigeria and strengthen the bilateral relations with Scandinavia countries.

During the courtesy call, the issue of the BVN for the Nigerians living in Scandinavia and the agitation about Rayfield Consult in Nigeria by Nigerians living in Finland were discussed.
Attention was drawn by Mrs Ndem to the fact that Finland or any other country has the right to decide on the modality for document verification, the release added.
APC Scandinavia is looking forward to an approach to addressing the issue of exorbitant fees (500 Euro as reported) charged by the verification company, Rayfield Consult. Hence, APC Scandinavia is seeking the indulgence, cooperation and support of Nigerians  living in Finland on the matter. We hope to work with other relevant organization to bring about an amicable resolution, the release noted.
