Sweden: Buya Turay banging in goals for Djurgarden

Sierra Leonean international Mohammed Buya Turay has started the Swedish football premiership, Allsvenskan with a bang.

The Djurgarden forward has scored five times in the last seven matches and is the championship’s second top scorer behind Sundsvall’s Linus Hallenius, who scored a goal more.

Buya hit his 5th goal of the season over the weekend when he opened the scoring as Djurgarden was held 1-1 by Helsingborg.
 
Another African scorer in the 7th round was Moroccan Tarik Elyounossi, who scored the second goal for AIK in a 2-1 win over Ekilstuna in a match which saw Nigerian Samuel Nnamani grab the consolation for Ekilstuna.
 
In the 6th round of the lower division, Superettan, Gambian Bubacarr Jobe scored his second goal of the campaign when he lifted the curtain after 23 minutes in Mjallby’s 2-1 victory over Orgryte while Guinea striker Kerfala Cissoko and Gambian Joseph Ceesay hit the net as Dalkurd flogged Syrianska 4-1.
 
Meanwhile it has been reported that Ivorian youngster Kossounou Odilon of  Allsvenskan side, Hammarby has joined Belgian outfit Club Brugge in a 2.8 million euros (about 30 million Swedish krona) deal, that is reportedly the Swedish side’s biggest sale ever. The 18-year-old defender moved to Hammarby in January from Ivorian side, ASEC.
