Sierra Leonean striker Mohammed Buya Turay was on target two times last weekend as relegation-bound Athletic Ekilstuna collected a surprise 3-1 win over  defending champions and league leaders, Malmo in the 20th round of the Swedish football premiership, known as Allsvenskan.

Turay, who is being eyed by a number of top Swedish sides, raised the curtain early through a 5th minute strike and scored his second 23 minutes later.

Another African on the scoresheet was Ghana’s Nasiru Mohammed who scored the equalizer for BK Hacken four minutes after falling behind to IFK Gothenburg in the 28th minute. It stayed that way (1-1).

Hammarby beat Orebro 3-0 in a match which saw Gambian attacker Pa Amat Dibba grab the third goal in the 67th minute.

Meanwhile, Malawian Tabitha Chawinga continues to shine in the female premiership, also known as Damallsvenskan.

Chawinga, who leads the scoring chart with 18 goals, scored twice in the last two matches for struggling side, Kvarnsvedens.

She grabed her club’s only goal in a 3-1 loss to Vittsjo and opened the scoring in a 2-all draw against Djurgarden. Both were 12th and 13th round matches.
