Sierra Leonean striker Mohammed Buya Turay has been in top form since the resumption of Sweden’s premier football championship, the Allsvenskan, after the World Cup.

Turay was on target last weekend as his struggling side Dalkurd lost 3-1 to Sirius. He scored in the 48th minute as Dalkurd remained at the bottom. That goal was Turay’s 4th strike in the championship in his last four matches, marking him as joint second topscorer with nine goals. Nigeria’s Moses Ogbu grabbed one of the goals for Sirius.

Other African scorers last weekend in the top flight included Gabonese midfielder Serge Junior Ngouali who opened the scoring in Hammarby’s 3-1 win over Trelleborg.

Liberian-born frontman Peter Wilson grabbed an 80th minute equalizer for Sundsvall in a 1-1 affair with Djurgarden while Eritrean international Henok Goitom provided the lone goal as league leaders AIK beat Kalmar 1-0.

Nigerian attacker Kennedy Igboananike equalized 14 minutes from time as his team Orebro collected a 1-1 draw against Hacken.

In the lower ranks, the Superettan, Nigerian Nsima Peter hit the net twice in eleven minutes after coming on as a substitute as Frej trounced Gais 3-1.
