Two African players were on the score sheet last weekend as Sweden’s topmost football league, Allsvenskan, nears its climax.

Eritrean striker Henok Goitom scored a late equalizer as AIK held Elfsborg to a 1-all duel to see its chances of winning the championship slip while 19-year-old Nigerian attacker Jordan Kadiri hit his first goal for Ostersunds in a 2-1 loss to league leaders Djurgarden.
 
One step below in the first division or Superettan, Ivorian Adama Fofana scored early as his outfit Varberg went down 3-2 to Halmstad while Ghanaian midfielder Dennis Antwi grabbed an 83rd minute equalizer only to his club Trelleborg succumb to a late goal in a 3-2 loss to Dalkurd.
 
Meanwhile, in the Danish Superliga, Nigerian-Austrian Marvin Egho scored in Randers’ 3-0 trashing of AAB.
 
In Finland’s top league, KuPS beat Ilves 3-0 with Cameroonian striker Ariel Ngueukam scoring the second goal in the dying minutes.
 
Gambian Demba Savage hit the lone goal as Honka pipped Inter Turku 1-0 while Ghanaian midfielder Evans Mensah got a brace in HJK’s 3-0 victory over Mariehamn.
 
In the Norwegian eliteserien, Leke James made sure Molde stay at the top with a 64th minute strike in a 2-1 win over Lillestrom.
