APC Scandinavia condemns Nigerian Killings

The All Progessive Congress (APC) Scandinavia has strongly condemned the recurrent killings in the north-east of Nigeria, the abduction of 100 Nigerian pupils. The organization also condemned the ways the country’s leadership is playing bitter politics with the lives of innocent citizens.
A release issued over the wekend, and signed by the coordinator of the APC Scandinanvia Ayoola Lawal, said “the recurrent killings and the abduction of about 100 pupils by the insurgents is purely lunatic.”
The manners by which the People’s Democratic Party leadership is handling the security challenges is another pointer that President Goodluck Jonathan and the security agencies are not in any way in control of the security of our nation, the release added.
“While the government is to promote the welfare and protect the citizens by all the resources at the disposal of the government, PDP leadership so far profoundly demonstrated the lack of the political will and compassion to do so.
“We urged the UN to please intervene in the incidents and freeing of the abducted children through the appropiate agency: The Special Representative of the Secretary -General on Children in Armed Conflicts and the office of the UN High Commission for Human Rights, the release concluded..
