With nine more rounds to conclude, Sweden’s top football championship is heating up as African players continue to bang in the goals.
 
Nigerian stiker Chinedu Obassi scored a 39th minute penalty as 3rd-placed AIK drew 1-all with city rivals Djurgarden, second on the table, in a 21st round encounter last weekend. Senegal’s Aliou Badji grabbed Djurgaden’s equalizer in four minutes from time.
A second half strike from DR Congo’s Ken Sema helped 7th-ranked Ostersund to a 2-0 win over Norrkoping while Ghanaian striker Nasiru Mohammed opened the scoring in the 24th minute as 4th-placed BK Hacken whipped struggling Jonkoping 3-1.
 
Papa Alioune Diouf was on target for Kalmar in a 4-2 bashing of Sirius. The Senegalese struck early in the 7th minute.
